As it turns out the reason why Shannon wanted JI to come in the studio was WAY different then what JI thought it was. What happened was Shannon was looking in like Peter’s (Shannon’s new intern) locker or something and found a pair of high heeled shoes. Anyway Peter didn’t go into work so Shannon called JI in. Shannon had this idea to have the “Mahu Olympics.” [Side note: For those of you unfamiliar term a mahu is hmm…how can I explain this? A mahu is like a dude dressed like a chick. Or a real fem kine dude. Something like that.] Anyway Shannon made this whole obstacle course and he and JI would run it in the heels Shannon found. Shannon said that he was going to have JI do it first, time him, then do the course himself.

Meanwhile Shannon was taking in calls to see who’d win. And whoever won they’d take the pile of people’s names who voted for who and would pick one name out. And the person would win a prize. As confusing as I made it sound, it’s not. Like I think at one point 6 people voted for JI and 3 for Shannon. And if Shannon won then they’d pick a name out of the pile of 3 people and choose a winner.

Anyway Shannon let JI go first. And JI ran the course in 23 seconds. When he was pau [done] frickin’ Shannon goes, “Ah I forfeit! J-Irie wins!” So Shannon didn’t have to run the course and JI won. So mean that guy.

On another note, this is the day before the strike. I want the teachers to strike, not only so I can get a vacation from school, but also so I can drive past the teachers and honk my horn. I really want to be able to honk my horn for a good purpose. Oh and then there is that wonderful idea of having a long weekend vacation. I like that one.

It’s sad though. Cause my grandma told me that my Aunty Lorraine was a teacher and she retired early cause she wasn’t getting paid enough. My grams said that she didn’t realize how little they were being paid, my grams said that she didn’t even go to college but yet she’s getting paid more then my aunty was. And to think, the teachers pay all that money to go to school and get educated and they go to college to get a better job, then when they become teachers they don’t get paid much. That’s so sad.

So I’m crossing my fingers [crosses fingers] that the teachers strike tomorrow. I could so use this vacation right now. And I know I just got out of spring break, but well another vacation couldn’t hurt. Besides right now I have a couple of big projects that could use a little more time to work on. Yeah, that’d be nice.
